The Year was 1874, and William LYLE and Walter SCOTT borrowed £1300 to form a small knitwear company in Hawick, Scottland and began to manufacture high quality hosiery and underwear.
More than a whopping a century and one-third later, Lyle & Scott is still standing tall, appealing fashion-enthusiasts -including many sports stars and celebrities- from all over the world.
Based on subculture and modernist principles, Lyle & Scott’s “Vintage” line is identifiable by the distinctive Golden Eagle. The range employs a smart and youthful strong aesthetic to make the wearer stand out and be noticed.
These timeless, super-relaxed Lyle and Scott Vintage cotton canvas plimsolls have tonal laces and the Golden Eagle badge on the tongue.
