Acquired by Nike in 1988, American label Cole Haan has been
incorporating proprietary Nike technology for the last decade or so, and
this dapper oxford wingtip is the latest example.
Cleverly
combining the body of a classic wingtip with a sole that features Nike’s
lightweight Lunarlon cushioning system, Cole Haan has introduced the
most modern interpretation of the hybrid dress shoe yet.
What further sets this shoe apart is the pairing of the traditional wingtip brogue upper with a bold bright-colour sole.
With dashing
good looks and enhanced flexibility/comfort, these LIMITED EDITION
hybrids are pretty much going, going, gone. Why not grab one of each
colour combo and wear them with a chambray shirt and selvedge denim for a
classic-meets-current ensemble?
(RRP US$248)
From runway to celebs to the common folk, wingtip/oxford shoes are the hot favourite this season.
