TRETORN Klippor Leather

As a brand Tretorn (now acquired by Puma AG) was registered in Sweden in 1911. The first Tretorn rubber footwear products, however, had appeared two decades prior, in 1891, made by the original factory known as Helsingborgs Gummifabrik. The name Tretorn is Swedish for “Three Towers”, a reference to the distinctive spires of that factory. Tretorn tennis balls have also been bouncing around the world's courts since1902. Today Tretorn reportedly carries a Royal Warrant, appointed by the King of Sweden. (Just in case you didn’t know all that.)
Combining a clean & simple aesthetic often associated with Tretorn, "Klippor" is a great wardrobe staple for adventures in the city & beyond. Some subtle metallic hardware aside, the rest of the sneaker is kept tonal (thanks to the construction using smooth & tumbled leather) & minimal, which worked out really nice.
Yeah, we wholeheartedly admit that we’re Swedophiles…

VANS VAULT 'Zapato Del Barco' Boat Shoes

Boat shoes (also known as Top-Siders, after the brand that made them popular, Sperry Top-Sider) started like a gentle breeze on the trend radar last year. Many thought they’d die down-- but guess again! The trend reached epidemic proportions & even strong brand Vans got on the boat with their own spin, the Zapato Del Barco. A part of Vans Vault (i.e., collections which tap into classic silhouettes & more sophisticated material), these hybrid footwear (part skate sneaker, part boat shoe) come in various colour ways including Cream & Navy. ASH Italia was started in Firenze (Florence), Italy in 2000 by Leonello Calvani, an Italian, & Patrick Ithier, a Frenchman who’d learnt shoemaking at Charles Jourdan's.
The duo’s vast fashion experience, their unique ideas, & their fresh sense of style are immediately apparent in ASH’s original shoes with ’tude, which have graced the pages of the slickest mags.
While ASH may not be a big-name brand in Asia yet, it’s well-known in Europe to those with a discerning taste in fashion.
