Launched in 2004 by L’Koral Inc. (the maker of 7 For All Mankind jeans), LaROK is designed collaboratively by a creative team spearheaded by Jenna Wilson & Cary Vaughan. Today its list of famous fans range from gossip girl Blake Lively & desparate housewife Eva Longoria to Taylor Swift & Victoria Beckham. The reason LaROK is so popular is because Wilson & Vaughan not only excel at colliding street-smart versatility with flirtatious glamour, they’re very good at using the customer as their muse. The team would make the effort to imagine the wearer’s adventures through work, parties, relaxing, & downtown; details are then meticulously considered (e.g., “Are the pockets are big enough for an iPod?”) & incorporated into the garments.
