Didja know that when AllSaints Spitalfields first opened in New York (this time last year), the store took more than US$1m in its first fortnight, outperforming nearby Topshop? Hoping to replicate that success, the Brit retailer unveiled its first Midwest location -Chicago- this past Wednesday, revealing an impressive storefront. Like every AllSaints store, the interior space is designed to evoke the feel of an industrial European rail station. It touts a large glass atrium, flat iron black steel arches, and also 800 vintage sewing machines.
