CAMPER x ROMAIN KREMER Limited edition

Anyone who has been to the Camper store on London’s Old Bond Street will know that it is a secret little emporium of cool footwear. That cool aesthetic has been taken up by Romain Kremer, the breakout menswear star whose name has been echoing resoundingly on the catwalk and in the fashion circles, who’s worked his unique magic to give us his rendition for the ‘Camper Together’ collaboration. A hybrid between the elegant, traditional derby shoe and an easy everyday sneaker, Kremer’s shoe features a leather upper, an anatomical insole for extra cushioning, and comfy rubber outsole.
(RRP US$205)
‘CAMPER TOGETHER’
‘Camper Together’ is a model of collaboration between Camper and leading designers to create exclusive products.

ROMAIN KREMER

Though still quite young (he is 29), Romain Kremer is already developing a cult following. The French native started his artistic life as a dancer, and since graduating from l'Ecole Duperré in Paris, he has worked for Christian Dior Monsieur and Gaspard Yurkievich, before turning his attention to his own label. Last year, Kremer was named by Brit publication Wound Magazine as one of the new guard of designers at the forefront of men’s fashion. Kremer’s creations are sold at SEVEN New York, Maria Luisa in Paris, and Joyce in Hong Kong, amongst many other top-notch stores.
Romain Kremer is also responsible for designing Thierry Mugler men’s line, working in hand with the house’s Japanese-Italian artistic director Nicola Formichetti (most widely known as a style collaborator with Lady Gaga).
