THOMAS WYLDE Dolman Cut-Sew Tunic/Dress

The Thomas Wylde collection is modern and clean in aesthetic, yet layered in rock-n-roll inspired complexities, with a drift towards rebellion. This easy-shaped tunic cut from lightweight knit is fashioned with drawstring detail at the armholes for custom fit. The striking zipper print adds a little bold and playful attitude. Wear it as a mini-dress, or you can slip it on with second-skin black pants, too.
(RRP 38,850 JPY)

THOMAS WYLDE
Thomas Wylde made a smashing debut in 2006 creating a huge buzz in the fashion world with clothes full of rock-and-roll excitement.
Paula Thomas, the founder-designer, had paid her dues as a model, stylist and shadow designer before stepping out of the shadows and launching her own brand.
Thomas’ experience in the fashion business began when she was hired to be a Bond girl (in the 1985 film "A View to a Kill") at 17. A modeling contract followed, and she was a cover girl for 15 years, appearing in magazines such as Vogue, the Face and ID (she even remembers walking the runway in Alexander McQueen's first show). Along the way, Thomas befriended the British designer Julien MacDonald, becoming his muse, then his sales manager, and eventually the chief executive of his company, until MacDonald was hired to head Givenchy in 2001. Thomas then spent two seasons working for Milanese designer Stefano Guerriero (formerly of Versace), before moving to LA and striking out on her own.
Today Thomas’ famous punk-chic touch can be seen on clothing, handbags and shoes in 183 boutiques and stores around the world.
The brand Thomas Wylde is named for Thomas' Welsh grandfather, Robert Thomas, and her great-grandmother Catherine Wylde.

3.1 PHILLIP LIM T-Shirt Dress

Just what we wanted!
This loose-fit 3.1 Phillip Lim number resembles over favourite dress-down, the good ole super-comfy oversized T-shirt (which some of us still sleep in!), except it's made from smooth & drapey silk... genius!
Thin drawtrings below one shoulder & at one side-hem allow for subtle variations in how you put this piece on. You'll appreciate the elegant kinetic print, & the low dolman sleeves (to cover up those sliiiiightly flabby arms), too.
Also imagine the dress with some pearls/jewellery & heels -- it'll certainly take you nicely into any semi-formal occasion. ...Quite perfect for that upcoming wedding party, yes?
*Available in 2 colours.
