Swoon Alert! JASON WU Printed faille Dress

For all you ladies who patiently waited for this, we thank thee very much. ’Tis true! Jason Wu is here!
Taiwan-born, American-bred, Manhattan designer Jason Wu was already a rising star of American fashion, but when Michelle Obama picked his gown to wear to the the inauguration night festivities, Wu’s destiny was decided upon. Now practically the official new master of the cocktail dress, a fashion critic even refers to Wu as “Oscar de la Renta light”.

As any Obama-watcher knows, sweet little dresses are Wu's stock-in-trade. A shining example of that comes in the form of this carmine pink-hued, pressed daffodil-patterned style with a mille-feuille skirt. Youthful yet polished, ladylike yet elemental, this is the perfect stunner for you if you're looking for a fashionable piece that will make the party your personal runway!
(RRP US$2600)

Wu's daffodil collection, with its ’50s uptown Parisian flavor, is adored by stars of of all masses, including -naturally- FLOTUS (First Lady Of The United States), as seen here during a state visit to El Salvador in late March this year.

Mrs Obama gave Wu yet another boost when she graced the March 2009 cover of Vogue in his creation. (She is only the second first lady to appear on the cover of Vogue - the first being Hillary Clinton in 1998.)

FLOTUS continues to favour Jason Wu, donning his design yet again just yesterday -30 June- at a fundraiser in Massachusetts (right most pic).
