BALLY Men's Shoes

Now 159 years old, Bally must have been a part of many of our lives growing up. Remember the few fine pairs of loafers that our grandpas, dads and uncles (or grandmas, mums and aunties) owned, and how they’d last forever and ever (and ever)?
Well, gone are the days when Bally stands for boring shoes for your parents. Inspired by the makeover success stories of labels such as Burberry, Bally has in recent seasons made considerable efforts to update its prestigious history. With rich yet wearable designs that don't slavishly follow trends, new creative directors Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz (the duo credited with reenergising Acquascutum, another European label with a long history) are on a great start to reposition Bally as the one and only Swiss heritage luxury house in the global luxury industry.

• Bally Waterman Driving Shoes

SUPREMELY comfortable whether you’re driving or walking!

MORE ABOUT BALLY
Founded in the Swiss hamlet of Schonenwerd in 1851 by Carl Franz Bally, Bally is not only easily the LONGEST existing luxury brand worldwide, it is without a doubt the synonym of quality and elegance.
The original family business was making ribbons, but founder Carl Franz Bally decided to shift production to shoes following a trip to Paris, where he was seduced by a pair of subtly decorated slippers. Snapping up several styles for his wife, he returned to Switzerland, called in local cobblers, and began pioneering the techniques of early shoe manufacturing in the basement of his family home.
From those beginnings, Bally quickly grew to become an international company. The company has held solid through wars, recessions and depressions, and has maintained a business based upon style and comfort.
