Many thought they’d die down-- but guess again! The trend reached epidemic proportions & even strong brand Vans got on the boat with their own spin, the Zapato Del Barco. A part of Vans Vault (i.e., collections which tap into classic silhouettes & more sophisticated material), these hybrid footwear (part skate sneaker, part boat shoe) come in various colour ways including Cream & Navy. Most striking, however, is the use of classic plaid/tartan. These shoes gives off a casual, comfy, yet preppy & pulled-together look, on top of having the typical vulcanised sole we all know & love.
