RICHARD CHAI x PALLADIUM Limited Edition Capsule Collection

If you’re looking to make a style statement this year, check out this Palladium tactical boot designed by New York city powerhouse Richard Chai.
A reinterpretation of one of the heritage brand’s most iconic styles, this rugged-sole boot has the usual utilitarian details that instill it with military-like toughness. At the same time, Chai has given the shoe a progressive aesthetic with a luxe navy material that calls to mind classic suiting — an element that is prevalent to his own collections.
Team these with narrow denim and a minimalist top for a city-cool spin on sportswear. Limited Edition.

RICHARD CHAI x PALLADIUM Limited Edition Capsule Collection

Heritage footwear brand Palladium has collaborated with cooler-than-cool New York designer Richard Chai to present a capsule collection. Using premium fabrics (such as luxurious,  texture-rich felt) to reflect his ‘urban nomad’ aesthetic, the acclaimed designer created his own version of the ‘Pampa Tactical’, one of Palladium’s iconic boot designs dating back to the brand’s role as a supplier to the French Foreign Legion in the 1940s.
Made in limited quantities, so grab a pair before they’re gone!
(RRP US$160)

PALLADIUM
Palladium was founded in France in 1920 to make aircraft tyres for the aviation industry. In 1947, after the end of WWII saw demand for tyres dry up, Palladium put their canvas and rubber expertise to use by making boots that were as hard wearing as their tyres. The company soon became outfitters of the legendary French Foreign Legion with their classic canvas Pampa boot. Over 60 years later, the timeless design of Palladium’s footwear is as relevant as ever and available once again for explorers worldwide. In ‘I Am Legend’, Will Smith (as Robert Neville) wisely wore Palladium boots while trying to survive as the last man on zombie-infested earth. Since then, Palladium has won itself some rather famous fans – even Knox Jolie Pitt has been spotted rocking Palladium.

DR. MARTENS Floral 1460 8-Eye Boot

In sync with the huge vintage/Victorian/floral trend this season, the 19th and 21st centuries come together beautifully in this Dr. Martens 1460 8-eye boot. A sweet combination of a strong boot silhouette and a delicate pattern, the durable canvas upper is covered in a richly detailed vintage rose print worthy of a Windsor Castle drawing room. With great flexibility and weather-resistant durability (thanks to the Goodyear welt and the signature air-cushioned PVC outsole), this Victorian boot will make sure you always arrive in time -and style- for tea time :-)
(RRP US$130)

ADIDAS Y-3 BY YOHJI YAMAMOTO Chelsea Boot

“Neat” comes to mind. “Awesome” seems right, too. How about “cool”? Yes, that’s what Yohji Yamamoto for adidas y-3 is. Cool. A classic design –the ever evergreen Chelsea pull-on boots- is left classic, as Yamamoto sticks with the low stacked heel, leather uppers, and cloth side panel to create the epitome of the sports luxe trend.
Polished to a fine gleam, this versatile shoe would be the pride of anyone’s closet and would work both tucked under slacks (for the boardroom) and outside skinny jeans (for the bar).
(RRP US$450 / £300)
