This cool as a cucumber 3.1 Phillip Lim jersey tank dress is just the thing to wear when the mercury rises as high as the elephant’s eye.
A nice balance of sporty comfort & unfussy sophistication, the style would be equally at home on its own, with oversized sunglasses or gladiator sandals, or dressed up under a jacket for smart-casual.
The interesting drawstring detail on the back allows you to fit your curves perfectly, too.
Colours: Crispy white will go with just about anything, or opt for peachy pink if you prefer a little warmth.

Burberry Black Label Knit Polo
As we’d posted before, in Japan , Sanyo Shokai holds the licence for all Burberry apparel brands & stores. In 2000, following the raving success of Burberry Blue Label (geared towards young women with some men’s items), Sanyo decided that girls shouldn’t have all the fun & spun off Burberry Black Label for male professionals. Designed in Japan in collaboration with Burberry’s London team (which retains approval authority over all concepts), both lines have reinvigorated the once-tired brand with a Japonistic styling. Many fashion-forward tourists even regard them as one of the hidden treasures of Japan (since they’re only sold in Japan).
Woven of premium fabric that feels wonderful & smartly cut for a nice fit & appearance, these hard-to-come by Burberry Black Label knit polos also feature a banded hem -- just plain more comfortable for those of us who aren’t big on tucked-in shirts.
A stylish, durable style to show off your beach/golf tan!

Cop. Copine Striped Tunic-Dress
Being in the vanguard of fashion is concomitant to risk-taking & Cop. Copine does it good. We don’t see the Parisian line much around these parts, but Cop. Copine (under founder-designer Leon Nedelian) has been quietly creative & prolific for over 20 years now. (Back in the earlier days the label was called Copain Copine, French for ‘boyfriend girlfriend.’) Innovative fabrics/textures, asymmetrical shapes & unusual embellishment techniques are compelling forces behind each Cop. Copine garment that have sustained the enthusiasm of fans around the globe.
If you enjoy exploring dynamic, idiosyncratic styles, this monochrome (one of this season’s main trends) tunic/one-piece with a stylish cut & relaxed ease will give your look an interesting visual flair without overdoing the funky element.
Team it with metallic jewellery, patent heels, or leggings/jeans for varied looks.

Development by Erica Davies - Latest Arrivals
Whilst the weather is proving infuriatingly capricious, you can rely on these latest arrivals from Development by Erica Davies for a little wardrobe boost.
Need something dressy for a special occasion? The beautiful off-shoulder classic A-line that flatters all body types make the bright pink Cameron dress (left pic) a smashing winner.
Want something more casual? Instantly lift your mood in the mustard colour double layer tank dress (right pic) with a contrast draped button front panel. This piece would look great too contrasted against a black cardi/jacket.
The best thing (in addition to the striking hues & utterly wearable silhouettes) about these dresses? You can wear them one day as a dress; the next, as a top with your favourite jeans.

Happy Mother's Day (Sunday, 11 May)
Happy Mother’s Day.
Just wanted to add our voice to the chorus of well-wishers.
This year is the 100th anniversary of what is widely known as the first Mother’s Day. The challenges of motherhood have multiplied; yet, mums remain the glue that holds so many families together.
If you need a little inspiration (be it to pamper the chic mum, salute the stay-at-home mum, or honour the new mum), do stop by the shops as we might just have that wonderful & cool gift for the amazing mum(s) in your life.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you who believe in your kids & nurture their positive dreams.
Enjoy the day in style!
