The founder of the Alexander McQueen label, Lee McQueen, may have tragically passed away last year, but his legacy lives on through his brand’s expansion. The luxury label’s younger, more relaxed outpost, McQ, has just announced the exciting news of opening its first stand-alone store and its debut on the catwalk at London Fashion Week.
Founded in 2006 to offer clothing and accessories inspired by both the McQueen main line and British subcultures, the McQ range is also overseen by Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen and designer of the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress.
A tactile luxury and a smart single investment for multiple applications, this streamlined little sharp shift from McQ lets you bring catwalk looks into the boardroom. The leather trim is a subtle nod to the dominatrix trend but still completely work-appropriate.
Add to the hotness with glossy heels and a structured tote in the city or a studded clutch for elegant evenings.
(RRP £360.00)
